I found that I can hear my music out on the floor, but I can also clearly make out the surrounding noises. Forklift traffic, voices, and machinery noises are less intense but still audible. As the Safety Manager, I think these are the perfect way for an employee to be able to enjoy their own music, podcasts, or books on tape while doing their work and protecting their hearing and still having a good understanding of what is happening around them.
