5 Industrial Trade Shows to Attend Post-COVID

What was lost in 2020 is 2021's gain when it comes to industrial trade shows.

The likes of manufacturing expos and construction trade shows are back on - and in person - this year after being sidelined in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And industrial trade shows this year are going to be events like we've perhaps never experienced before. After 18 months of being cooped up at home, professionals are eager to travel, network and have some fun on the road again. Here's a look at five shows you need to be at in 2021.

Industrial Trade Shows 2021 Edition

PACK EXPO

September 27 - September 29, 2021 | Las Vegas, Nevada

PACK EXPO is the largest trade show in the packaging industry, and it rotates each year between Chicago's McCormick Place and the Las Vegas Convention Center. After going virtual last year, PACK EXPO is back in person this year - and it's in Vegas to boot. From September 27-29, the who's who in packaging will convene in Sin City to re-engage with the industry. As an added bonus, the show is co-located with the Healthcare Packaging Expo.

Amerimold

September 21 - September 23, 2021 | Rosemont, Illinois

Attention mold makers and machine shop owners/operators! After a 2021 cancellation, Amerimold is back-and it has even added a third day to its show to make up for lost time. Amerimold is the only North American-based show that covers the entire moldmaking process, making it a go-to even for OEMs, molders, moldmakers and suppliers. As an added bonus, Amerimold 2021 will co-locate with Extrusion 2021 and Molding 2021, two similar conferences that will offer more value to attendees.

World of Concrete

Manufacturing and mold making expos aren't the only ones back on the docket for 2021. So too are construction expos - and the one you'll want to be at is World of Concrete. It's the only show dedicated to the concrete and floor coverings industries, featuring a slew of both indoor and outdoor exhibits. In addition to exhibitors, there are live demonstrations and plenty of networking opportunities. More than 1,500 companies will exhibit across about 750,000 square feet of show floor space.
