Q&A

Which ISOtunes model is your current favorite & why?

FREE Aware - Perfect for both the workshop and for my daily life out and about.. not to mention gigs!

What do you typically listen to on your ISOtunes?

Music and audiobooks - often audio books about music and musicians!

Why are you an ISOtunes' brand ambassador?

I haven't found anything else that matches both the quality and the customer service, the constant upgrades in features is just the icing on the cake.

What inspired you to get into your chosen industry?

I couldn't afford the guitars I lusted after. I started making them myself and ended up creating the perfect career for myself.

What is the most challenging part of your line of work?

Controlling myself, there is always something extra that can be done to improve a build, I need to know when to draw a line and be happy!

How did you become a content creator?

I love teaching and sharing my craft but doing this exclusively in person limits the number of people I can help. I started a blog and ended up evolving into YouTube and Instagram and I love it.

How do you stay motivated in times of chaos & stress?

I think about the people that rely on me and on my content to keep them going and this invariably helps me out of whatever pit I am in. It is easy to become absorbed in my own problems but in the end what I am doing has an impact on other people and they are more important than whether I 'feel like doing it today'.

What is something you are most proud of?

Starting a company from literally nothing and making an impact on the world in my chosen field. You don't have to have loads of money to get started, though it would have been nice, all you really need is passion and a strong work ethic.

Words to live by?

Always be learning!

Fun fact about you.

Like my namesake I also love shiny things.

Which project has been the most challenging for you?

Staying sane...but seriously The Comlication Guitar...so much sanding, and sanding and sanding.

What are future goals as your career grows?

We want to greatly expand our guitar building moving forward, it would be amazing to start delivering hundreds of guitars a week.

How would you describe your perfect day?

Lots of coffee and hand-tools with unlimited time to use them all while listening to a good book on my ISOtunes.

When do you feel most at home?

When I am behind my workbench.

Favorite part of your daily routine.

First coffee of the day while figuring out what I will be filming that day.

Three words that describe you.

Questionable life choices

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

Just had it clinically confirmed that I have full on ADHD - I think of it as my superpower...that being said it did take me a month to answer these questions, I am a king of procrastination when there isn't a video deadline involved :(
