Q&A

Which ISOtunes model is your current favorite & why?

ISOtunes LINK 2.0 - I find they are the most versatile for my workShop with all the noise that goes on and are easy to take on and off if needs be.

What do you typically listen to on your ISOtunes?

Mostly been listening to Podcasts, Knifetalk, Axe and Iron, Fire and Steel.

Why are you an ISOtunes' brand ambassador?

To me i have to love a product and the service you get or I won’t represent it, they both have to be good and with ISOtunes you get the whole package. It’s like they still care about the customer even after they have spent money which a lot of companies nowadays don’t seem to do.

What inspired you to get into your chosen industry?

I’ve always been interested in knives and one day I watched a video of someone making one then it all spiralled out of control to where it’s now my full time job.

What is the most challenging part of your line of work?

Difficulty dealing with people who have a misconception that knives are bad without realising that knives aren’t designed to be bad and we couldn’t live a day without using one.

How did you become a content creator?

I was always told I had a face for radio but I'm so stubborn I wanted to push that boundary and film what I do plus I really enjoy helping people and trying to show the art of making.

How do you stay motivated in times of chaos & stress?

I love what I do which makes it easier but sometimes it can get a bit much so if i do feel a bit down I'll start a side project that I have in mind as I find doing something for myself and keeping occupied gets rid of those chaotic moments.

What is something you are most proud of?

I'm proud of the people who follow me and are inspired to start something they love, it really makes me happy to have people tell me they started cause of me.

Words to live by?

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Fun fact about you.

I served 7 years in the infantry and have won a mention in dispatches bravery award during that time.

Which project has been the most challenging for you?

The flail axe was hard to figure out and a very dangerous one to test.

What are future goals as your career grows?

Keep growing my channel and try help more people have fun.

How would you describe your perfect day?

Absolutely everything goes exactly how I want it to.

When do you feel most at home?

With my family, everything I do is for them (Edit: In the workshop making stuff but wanted to be careful incase my family saw this).

Favorite part of your daily routine.

The testing of what I make, finally seeing it all come together and actually doing what it was made for.

Three words that describe you.

Tall Dark Handsome

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I'm an advocate for being my real self, with everything I put out you see me no personality change for the camera. It’s not for everyone but I'd rather people follow me because of me not because of how they want me to be.
